A beech sprung slatted base provides added comfort, support an allows the air to circulate through the mattress enabling it to breath. A pull handle located at the end of the bed provides easy access to lift up the frame with the assistance of a pneumatic mechanism. This enables the frame to be lifted whilst the mattress is still in place and a bracket located the other end stops the mattress from sliding around whilst the frame is being lifted.
